I had always wanted to be a star athlete in my private life, not necessarily competing. However, that came to a screaching halt upon learning ny grandmother was ill. Though she died of ovarian cancer, I had learned posthumously that she had a genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos, and my medical interest and curiousity spurred me to investigate. Turns out all the wild and varying symptoms sounded familiar. I was diagnosed with the potentially debilitating disorder May 2016. Since then I had to reorient, consider it in my decisions and training. Calisthenics, gymnastics, and stretching had to become complicated and precise in order to accomodate.
Motivation & Passion
Though many goals are no longer possible for me, I take just as much pleasure imparting the knowledge and skills necessary for others to reach theirs. Tell me what you want, and I will find a way!
